Tara Power Decoupage Productions

TARA POWER has spent her time working between New York City and Los Angeles for the last fifteen years, and has built deep relationships with the networks, vendors and creative personnel she’s collaborated with along the way. Since starting Decoupage Productions, Tara has focused her attention on creative and logistical producing on all of the Decoupage projects, as well as collaborating on an original development slate for the company.

Prior to starting Decoupage, Tara worked as the Director of Production for Nickelodeon, Nick at Nite and Nick Pre-School’s On-Air divisions. While at Nick, she specialized in the production of live television events and series such as the Kids Choice Awards Pre-Show, MeTV and TeeNick, and oversaw production of all of Nickelodeon’s promos and short-form content, while also creating and managing the yearly budgets for four separate networks. Before Nick, Tara worked in production on multiple MTV Networks shows, including Comedy Central’s hit series Chappelle’s Show and Spike TV’s 60 Second Cinema. Her television credits also include years of experience as a line producer and production manager on national commercials and promo spots for clients such as Dunkin Donuts, Heinz, General Mills and more.

Tara’s feature film credits include David Mamet’s Spartan, Jeff Nathanson’s The Last Shot; James Quatrocchi’s Jesus, Mary and Joey; and Bruce Leddy’s The Wedding Weekend.

Tara graduated from Boston University with a degree in Film and Television production. She currently lives in Brooklyn, NY with her husband. Tara loves going to the beach, a good glass of wine, and fireworks displays (no holiday needed).

JOSELYN ALLEN moved to New York City after receiving her BFA degree and started a small business in the service industry that was successful for many years. Upon transitioning into film and television seven years ago, Joselyn decided to sell her business to focus on production. While starting out, she served as a Production Manager on commercials and short form content in both the Boston and NYC areas. Past clients include Mattel, Samsung, Doritos, and Michael Andrews Bespoke.

Though they have known each other for years, Joselyn and Tara began producing together in 2007 on various short form projects and the next year formed Decoupage. Since 2008 Joselyn has focused on producing all of the projects on the Decoupage slate, directing short-form content for the company and general company management. Joselyn has also been deeply integrated in the creation of the original content that the company has been pitching and is currently developing.

Joselyn holds a degree in Fine Arts from Boston University and lives in Park Slope, Brooklyn. She loves horse racing, fine wine, and hot dogs. She is deathly afraid of submarines.
